I. GENERAL SITUATION

• In Azerbaijan, a large portion of wastewater (domestic sewage) is not reused and is instead transported and discharged into designated sanitary landfills. There are methods in other parts of the world for producing organic fertilizers from such wastewater.

Current Problem:

• The costs associated with transporting and discharging wastewater;
• Lack of reuse of wastewater;
• Significant spending on fertilizers.

Solution: The production of organic fertilizers from domestic wastewater.

 

II. BRIEF DESCRIPTION

• The method ensures the production of fertilizer from the active sludge of wastewater.
• Application area: Wastewater.
• Key Features/Advantages:

1. The raw material is wastewater, which is considered waste;
2. It reduces the costs associated with transporting and discharging domestic wastewater to some extent.
