The Center for Technology Commercialization and Transfer (CTCT) was established based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 6, 2021, titled “On the establishment of the Center for Technology Commercialization and Transfer under the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.”
The Center, operating as a public legal entity under the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, carries out activities aimed at stimulating inventive activities through the integration of science and industry, fostering the formation of an innovative economy, as well as working on the transfer and commercialization of technologies.
The main areas of activity of the Center are:
- supporting the commercialization and transfer of technologies;
- developing inventive activities;
- creating a bridge between science and industry;
- stimulating the application of research results in industry;
- promoting technologies;
- awareness-raising;
- supporting the sustainable development of the ecosystem.
