Facade cleaning robot
I. GENERAL SITUATION
- The increasing number of glass-facade buildings today has led to a growing demand for facade cleaning services. These services are mainly carried out through human labor.
Problems – The use of human labor in facade cleaning leads to the following issues:
- Life-threatening risks;
- Poor cleaning quality;
- Time-consuming process.
Solution: Replacing human labor in facade cleaning with robots.
II. BRIEF DESCRIPTION
- The robot autonomously washes glass and Alucobond facades and dries them with high-pressure air.
- Application area: Cleaning glass and Alucobond facades of high-rise buildings, cleaning solar panels.
- The robot consists of three parts:
- The brain part, called PDC (Portable Digital Crane);
- The facade washing unit;
- The controller.
- Key Features/Advantages:
- The complete autonomy of the work by the PDC – unlike competitor products, there is no need for regular remote intervention; entering only the coordinates is sufficient to perform the work.
- The unique design of the washing unit – the effective placement of the motor and other components allows the unit to clean 95% of the surface area it covers.
Note: The robot can also perform the following functions:
- Inspection (evaluating the condition of glass facades);
- Decoration/painting;
- Sandblasting cleaning.
